Hi Pack 116 Families & Future Scouts!

Whether you’re returning for another year of adventures or checking out Scouting for the very first time—WELCOME! We are so excited to launch the 2026–2027 Scouting year.

At Pack 116, everyone is welcome. Siblings, friends, and family members are always invited to join in the fun!

❓ How Pack 116 Works (In a Nutshell)

• 🐺 The Pack (Grades K–5): Our entire group gets together once a month for big themed events (like our Water Party, Pinewood Derby, and Halloween Bash!).

• 🐾 The Dens (Grade Levels): Scouts are grouped by grade level (Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, AOL). Dens meet monthly as a combined group to work on rank adventures together, with small group time for specific rank requirements.

🌊 August Kickoff Events

• 💧 Tues, Aug 4 (6:30 – 8:00 PM) @ Forest Park Shelter 2:

  • Kids: 18' Inflatable Water Slide, water games & fun! Bring a swimsuit, towel, and a friend!

  • Parents: Gathering under the shelter for Cub Scout 101, Scoutbook setup, Popcorn kickoff, and info! (Note: Cub Scout 101 will be covered tonight—there will be NO meeting on Aug 11th).

  • Bring a Friend! Print a few of the attached flyers and send them with your scout to school on Monday so they can invite friends!

• 🐾 Tues, Aug 18 (6:30 – 8:00 PM) @ Forest Park Shelter 2: Bobcat Rank Requirement Night for all ranks.

• 🗓️ Tues, Aug 25: Optional individual den meetings (check with your Den Leader).

• ⚾ Fri, Aug 28 (Optional): Indy Indians Game (7:05 PM) & On-Field Campout! (Ticket purchase required. Email Andrew Flowers to attend: andrew.flowers1989@yahoo.com).
