December Pack Meeting

We have a packed evening of holiday fun and the exciting kick-off to the Pinewood Derby season! Please arrive on time so the Scouts don't miss the special guest.

Schedule of Events

6:30 PM: Santa's Arrival! Our special guests, Santa and Mrs.Claus, will arrive right at 6:30 PM to start the evening! They will be sharing delightful stories from the North Pole and singing a few festive songs. He will even bring photos and props to share the magic with the Scouts about the reindeer and other special aspects of North Pole activities (approx. 20 minutes).

 Pinewood Derby Kit Handout After the chat, Santa will personally give out the official Pinewood Derby Car Kits to all registered Scouts!

• Scout Kits: Each registered Cub Scout receives one kit for free.

• Pit Crew Class: Parents and siblings are welcome to participate in our Pit Crew Class! Additional kits for siblings or parents are available for $7 each. These will be added to your Scout Account and billed around the New Year.

• Pinewood Derby is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, 2026 so you've got plenty of time. We'll also try to provide an opportunity in January to help build cars.

 Holiday Activity Stations (Free-for-All) Starting around 7:00 PM, we will have 30 minutes of dedicated activity time, but the stations will remain open even after the movie begins. Scouts are free to rotate between the stations at their own pace—if one station is busy, just move to another and circle back later!

•  Photo Booth with Santa & Mrs. Claus (We've got a photographer coming with a great backdrop and studio lighting - this will be an excellent photo opportunity for your family that you won't want to miss! Sample photo of me is attached. Feel free to dress however you'd like - BSA uniforms are optional, especially if you'd like to get a family photo)

•  Cookie Decorating (Sugar cookies, white icing, and festive sprinkles!)

•  Pinewood Derby Inspiration Station (See samples of past cars, shapes, and design ideas.)

•  Ornament Decoration

•  Pin the Nose on the Snowman

•  Candy Cane Golf

•  Make a Face Stickers

•  Coloring Poster

•  Reindeer Ring Toss

 Movie Time (Starting ~7:30 PM) We will start playing A Charlie Brown Christmas (approx. 25 minutes), but Scouts can feel free to continue enjoying their favorite activity stations if they prefer!
